Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese
  • 1 jar strawberry jam
  • 1 Tbl WVOO Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 cup roasted walnuts or almonds, chopped
  • 4 walnut halved or almonds, roasted, for garnish
  • Serve with crostini, French bread, or crackers

Preparation

  1. Place Brie in refrigerator for about 2 hours to firm up for easier slicing
  2. Slice Brie in half horizontally, creating two rounds
  3. Spread strawberry jam evenly atop open-faced round (you may not need all of the jam, but use as much or as little as you like)
  4. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the jam
  5. Drizzle WVOO Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar
  6. Put Brie wheel back together by placing other half on open round (create a sandwich with the brie rounds acting as the bread)
  7. Wrap in foil and bake 10-12 minutes in a 350˚ oven
  8. Garnish by spooning a dollop of strawberry balsamic jam on top of the brie round and adding walnut halves
  9. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until an hour or so before serving
