Ingredients
- 2 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
- 8 oz. fresh mozzarella (sliced or pearls)
- 2-3 tbsp WVOO BasilOlive Oil (Plus more to finish)
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze or 1-2 tsp balsamic vinegar )optional)
- 1 small garlic clove (cut in half)
- 1-2 tbsp fresh basil, torn (optional extra basil boost)
- 1-2 tbsp toasted pine nuts (optional)
- Salt (kosher or sea salt)
- Fresh cracked black pepper
- Crusty bread or crostini for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the tomatoes (halve them an place into a bowl)
- Season: Add salt, pepper, and 2-3 tbsp WVOO BasilOlive Oil, toss gently
- Assemble: Arrange mozzarella and tomatoes on a plate or platter
- Add extras: Sprinkle torn basil and pine nuts (if using)
- Finish: Drizzle a little more WVOO Basil Olive Oil and balsamic glaze/vinegar (optional)
- Serve: Optional – rub bread lightly with the cut garlic and toast; serve alongside or under the tomatoes/mozzarella
